Seniors Defeat Lifford in League Div 3
Our Seniors got their first 2 points on the league table this evening with a very good performance against Lifford at Pairc Naomh Brid.
They sprinted out of the blocks with a number of very good scores early on, with the left half forward bagging 2 goals in the first half to the surprise of the onlooking crowd. Lifford found it difficult to win possesion with good fielding, defending and ball winning by Naomh Brid. The Forwards kicked great scores and it would be unfair to pick anyone out.
The game was over as a contest at half time but fair play to the home team they still battled to the very end and didnt ease up taking advantage of the competitive game.
This was a great panel performance and all the panel and management must take credit for the display this evening. The large crowd left Pairc Naomh Brid very happy this evening ! Keep Up the hard work.
Next game is away to Glencolmcille.
